Individual Tickets and Sponsorship Packages on Sale for 2017 “Give Hope, Change Lives” Gala and Silent Auction

Orlando, Florida – The Salvation Army of Orlando, a staple in the community since 1920, is hosting the 2017 “Give Hope, Change Lives” Gala and Silent Auction on Friday, May 5 from 6 PM to 8:30 PM at Ports of Call at SeaWorld® Orlando, located on 7007 SeaWorld Drive. The event will feature former Major League Baseball player and 4-time World Series Champion, Darryl Strawberry. Visit http://salvationarmyorlando.org/givehope/ for more information.

“Our Annual Celebration presents The Salvation Army of Orlando to the community and also serves as our largest fundraising event,” said Major Ted Morris, Area Commander. “Proceeds benefit men, women and children served by our programs.”

Eighteen local businesses sponsored last year’s celebration. Those businesses include: A.T.A.P. COMPANIES, BAGS, Bright House Networks, CareerSource, CliftonLarsonAllen, Danny Pressler and John Campbell, Walt Disney World, Fortress, Golden Corral, Harriet Lake, Orlando Sentinel, SeaWorld® Orlando, Summit Marketing, Technical Collaboration Services, The City of Orlando, Total Roof Services, and Universal.
