Steps to Becoming a Volunteer!

Step One: Paperwork!

Checkout the ongoing opportunities to find your best fit.

Complete the online application

Download, print and complete the background screen form. (Bring the completed background screening forms with you to the orientation)

 

Step Two: Orientation!

A New Volunteer Orientation will be done at the time of your final application processing before your first Volunteer service.

If approved, you will receive a name tag, ID # and a schedule.

Some important things to know:

  • All volunteers must pass a background screen prior to volunteering.
  • Minimum volunteer age is 16, unless accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
  • Volunteer groups with minors must provide an appropriate number of adult chaperons.
  • Some volunteer opportunities are restricted to ages 18+.
